Glan Agua Farrans JV Wins HS2 Process and Network Modifications Frameworks for Affinity Water

Glan Agua Farrans JV (GAFJV) awarded HS2 Process and Network Modifications Frameworks for Affinity Water with a total estimated value of £29 million

EiB’s Strategic Work Winning Team, led by Richard Roddie, is delighted to have played its part in helping the GAFJV secure Lots 2 and 3 of the HS2 Process and Network Modifications Frameworks for Affinity Water.

Valued at £29m, Lot 2 includes the design and installation of modifications of up to five treatment sites, primarily to deal with the risk of increased levels of chalk turbidity as a result of HS2 construction bisecting Affinity Water’s supply area. Lot 3 specifies the design and installation of modifications of up to two existing groundwater abstraction sites.

Affinity Water is the largest water-only supplier in the UK, providing 900 million litres of water each day to more than 3.5 million people across Bedfordshire, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Surrey, the London Boroughs of Harrow and Hillingdon and parts of the Boroughs of Barnet, Brent, Ealing and Enfield.
